Planet Whale - behind every great whale watch
Dylan Walker guided tours with me, set up the Company of Whales, is co-founder of charity Organisation Cetacea, and is the author of numerous acclaimed books on whales & dolphins. Now, together, we’ve created the world’s whale watching search engine.
Planet Whale plans to have the most positive impact on whales and dolphins since the ‘Save the Whale’ campaign of the 1980s. Whale and Dolphin cruise to Spain

Join us on board the luxury cruise ferry Pont-Aven as we sail a triangular route exploring mysterious deep waters that are only beginning to reveal their wild secrets. We will cruise through the 3 mile deep Bay of Biscay and the amazing submarine canyons of northern Spain, before landing briefly in Santander for some sun, sand and sangria!

| ORCA ‘Looking
out for Whales & Dolphins’
In my spare time I work on the committee of Organisation
Cetacea (ORCA)
– a clever name eh, because cetacea is the scientific name for whales & dolphins
– whose objective is to provide this information to gather hard evidence to illustrate the importance of marine habitats for whales & dolphins. In 1996 ORCA began conducting offshore whale and dolphin surveys in European waters, with a major focus on the Bay of Biscay and the North Sea. Today, surveyors travel onboard ferries, cruise ships, cargo vessels and yachts, as well as dedicated research vessels. Working with other research and conservation organisations, data collected by ORCA is distributed to 3,000 people in over 20 countries world-wide.
Join us to learn more about these magnificent animals, go out and see them, and to work to protect them. |
